  • Road riders count their miles 1 to 1
  • Mountain bike riders count their miles 3 to 1
  • Count spin classes and stationary bike rides as 20 miles for each hour
  • Describe your rides, events, and workouts

    Log Your Miles
    		 Choose Your Charities. You and your sponsors choose the causes and charities where 100% of your miles x pledges go. We will bill your sponsors and they will pay the charities directly.
     
    Choose Your Charities
    		 Round Up Sponsors/Pledges while you ride. No pressure. Start by sponsoring yourself. Have family, friends, businesses sponsor you. Suggested minimum is $.05 per mile for average riders. Add sponsors online (minimum $50 per year). If you have no sponsors, it's just $50 annually to a charity of your choice.

    Our first two years of 2005 & 2006 were successful with more than 200 cyclist members riding more than 400,000 miles raising more than $50,000 for 120 different charities! We had riders from all over the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, North Dakota, California, Nevada, and Puerto Rico.

    Hincapie Bianchi Racing Team rode with RFC proudly displayed on their jerseys as did Paceline Bicycles. Dale Brown of Cycles de Oro helped with events and prizes. RFC appears on Lance Armstrong's LiveStrong website as a way to help others while we ride. We also appeared in Bicycling Magazine, local newspapers, and Channel 2 Morning Show and Fox 8 News.
